- XL fork tube conversion kit includes all components to convert 1957-1970 Sportster fork legs to "1971" type
- 1957-1970 lower legs do not have a seal provision
- Use the original lowerlegs and drill the lower hole to 7/16" to accept hex bolts, included in the kit
- Use the boots that are supplied to cover leg andtube area
- Boots will require clamping to stay secure
- Fork bushing service available separately
- Fits 1957-1970 XL models
