- Kick starter kit includes all assembly components and features a polished finish
- Kit includes kick starter cover, clutch drum with ratchet that is gear riveted into place, kick starter shaft and drill template
- The drill template requires a hole to be drilled for the kick starter shaft bushing for the kick starter shaft, which is located on the left side of the engine case (follow photos on instructions in the ealry Sportster service manual)
- The template includes a pilot drill and finish drill to finish the bushing, however, the drill bits are not supplied (accurate drilling is required)
- The rear brake master cylinder must be moved forward with forward controls
- Fits 1980-1985 Ironhead XL models
