BD Diesel Performance occupe une place unique dans son secteur en concevant, fabriquant et distribuant une large gamme de produits spécifiquement étudiés pour les applications diesel haute performance. Situé à Abbotsford, en Colombie-Britannique, au Canada, l'établissement ultramoderne de BD s'étend sur 65 000 pieds carrés et emploie plus de 60 personnes hautement qualifiées. Le nom BD a acquis sa notoriété en 1989, lorsque l'entreprise a lancé le premier frein sur échappement pour le marché en plein essor des camionnettes diesel. Les racines de BD remontent toutefois à 1972, année de l'ouverture de Valley Fuel Injection, Ltd. Aujourd'hui, Valley Fuel Injection et BD Diesel Performance ne font qu'un, avec huit divisions spécialisées axées sur les composants de groupe motopropulseur diesel : le service de calibration d'injection de carburant, la fabrication de freins sur échappement, la conception et l'assemblage de circuits électroniques, la conception et le remanufacturage de transmissions et de convertisseurs de couple, la conception de turbocompresseurs, ainsi que l'installation et la recherche et développement.
